Where Have You Been?

Well, really it was I who was missing. Sorry I haven't been keeping up to date but I've been busy/boring. Busy because it was my birthday and mi madre was in town, and boring because nothing seems to happen to me. I know my blogging absence has led some of you to curse me for not providing your morning entertainment and still others of you to freak out and figure I had been hit by a bus (although in their defense I was abnormally silent on all fronts be they email, texting, voicemail or smoke signals).
